Isn't It Ironic?

Irony's a fag I've decided. If Irony were human, he would be a boy digging other boys. It's so patronizing... that whole concept of karma or comeuppance... like come on... be the bigger person karma... forgive and forget irony. I'm really annoyed.

Especially... especially! when you've realized the error of your ways. What about repentance? I mean... okay, so i suppose i understand i get what i deserve, real cool. But... put the capital V for Vendetta Irony.... he doesn't let anything go. Give it a friggen rest. You would think, ya know, that things are in the past and he would let them go. It's like those jokes that people make long after the time is appropriate... the moment is totally gone. It's tacky... revenge that's that long over due. Let it go man.

I'm not bitter... just outraged! Have you ever sat next to someone trying to do something very important and it's very frustrating and you aren't getting anywhere and you've exhausted all avenues of troubleshooting... and suddenly the craphead next to you is like, "oh, here's the simple answer" and poof! it's solved? WoW..... wow most annoying moment of my life. But the point is (more significantly) that all that effort is wasted. Maybe a more fitting analogy is a shock collar. The dog freely runs... look at the puppy frolic innocently in the meadow.... watch him chase a butterfly or his own tail.... oh how cute he's eating his own poop... and he's running again, he's running away! and... ZAP! savagely stopped dead... Think about that in relationship to irony and karma and things catching up with you! That false sense of freedom and life enjoyment... suddenly torn away. And like the poor puppy with the shock collar, you don't just get up and continue what you were doing, you aren't emotionally in the same spot anymore.

I don't blame the girl. I blame irony.
